Greetings sports fans and welcome to another thrilling episode of Vegas Valley Sports Beat the little search engine that can. I’m still your host aka Mad Max and in case you are just now waking up, the world is still insane but we’re working on it so please be patient. Feel free to vote while you wait.

Turning our focus now to the ever-delightful world of politics, speaking of the devil that is, national attention is beginning to turn to our own 36th District Assembly race where Democritic challenger, Lesia Romanov is facing Dennis Hof the controversial and highly outspoken owner of two brothels in Nye County and more up north.

Sadly for Republican voters and for the people of Nevada in general, Dennis Hof celebrated his 72nd birthday at The Pahrump Nugget Hotel and Casino on October 15th and was found deceased in his own bed at the Love Ranch in Crystal, several hours later.

Sadly also for Democratic voters as well because Dennis Hof was, despite all accounts to the contrary, a genuinely nice person. And not only did he truly care about the people of Nevada and Nye County he lived here he worked and played here and Dennis Hof brought a lot of jobs, businesses, and revenue to Nye County. Money that he very generously donated to many worthy causes here.

Whether Dennis Hof was good or evil is above my pay grade even as a lawfully ordained minister. I’m not a judge, I’m just an inspector and officer of the court. This is what I know to be true. All things work together for the glory of God and it’s not my place to question Him as to how He does as He will. My life’s no picnic either but even so, Thy will be done.

As I have said before, here’s the stone, you throw it because I know I can’t take it from His hand.

Just mind your own house when you throw it because glass walls are expensive to replace.

Dennis Hof was trying to do good work for the people of Nevada when he passed away and to me, that is all that counts. What is truly a shame is that now we will never know one way or the other so the judgments of his judges here on Earth will never be validated either way either.

What I also know to be true is that I don’t care one wit about any politician. To me, they’ve always been interchangeable and they all sound like Charlie Brown’s mom when they prattle on endlessly about how they’re going to Washington D.C. to clean up, and yadda yadda yadda… blah blah blah.

They’re not lying to the American people though because as soon as the McCain’s and Pelosi’s of America get elected boy do they clean up alright, and how!  Clearly, it has always been the intent of the framers of the Constitution that every state should be represented in the House and Senate and that those states shall send a representative to Congress.

This does not automatically mean tenure. Times change, people’s needs change and yet on and on the career politico’s go year after year election after election spouting the same tired old rhetoric and lying about the same old lies they lied about before to get re-elected and little if anything else ever changes.

There is little doubt in my mind that somewhere at some point in time Dennis Hof, just like all the rest of us grasshoppers here on planet Earth, is going to have to face our Judge and account for whatever crimes or sins we commit in this lifetime.

Whether Dennis Hof committed acts of whatever or not I simply cannot call it. I have all the compassion in the world for any women who may or may not have suffered in any way due to whatever reason(s) while employed as a hooker at Hof’s places of business.

However. As I see it they had ample opportunities to run and tell someone and bring charges when it allegedly happened, or to just run away and hide. I also know for a fact that there is no shortage of lovely young whores who are more than willing to drop their drawers for cash if the price is right or wrong.

You can find them no matter where you look too. Call me a liar but I can prove what I say. Craigslist was forced to finally eliminate their personals ads online because they had been taken over by freelance prostitutes, and a plethora of scam artists posing as women to defraud lonely men out of money if they posted an ad for a companion there. It got to the point to where if they could fly Craigslist would have been a freaking airport.

Don’t blow smoke up my bum and try to tell me I have gas. I’m not even nearly that stupid and neither are the people who are now expected to turn out in record numbers to send a message to liberals and their masters in the DNC that is surely going to ring out loud and clear on Tuesday, November 6thThose are the people who believe in the rule of law and who believe in Christian family values, justice, fair play, and above all else integrity.

It’s way past time for Congress to clean up its act and get to work making America strong and its people working and prospering again. I don’t stand for Donald Trump but as long as he’s the President and he’s doing like he’s doing now he has my trust. Unless I find out that he slept with Hillary or he does something really dumb in office he still has a job. If not he’s fired. Simple as that and that goes double for the rest who are or who hope to be elected to serve the people of the United States.

We the people are through serving politicians. Term limits must be enacted in all fairness to the Constitution as long as that onus is on the Executive office because of Equal Protection and due process of law which this effectively denies. This it must be noted only came into law after the opposite party lost the Presidential election to Roosevelt 4-5 times in a row. That sort of blatant self-interest serving legislation is Unconstitutional. Else it must be held that if you are a member of Congress or the Senate or any other public office which has no term limitations you cannot lawfully run for President of the United States.

I am not a racist nor is anyone trying to make it an issue of race. It’s about me having to live in a ditch and it’s about over 1,000,000 children living homeless and hungry on our streets. Maxine Waters walks right over them on her way to and from the office as do many politicians and it makes me wonder how in God’s name can they do that? Look the other way and ignore the suffering of their own constituents but yet they clearly do just that. It’s about all of us as a people and a nation together as one working living and playing together as one people and acting as a nation. Responsibly.

Now as if that weren’t bad enough there’s a caravan of immigrants headed for our southern border and the liberals want to let them in so that they can be used to further perpetuate voter and welfare fraud on the nation at taxpayers expense. This to the tune of hundreds of billions of dollars, and who can say yet how long this has been going on?

The evidence is in storage in Uncle Sam’s computers they just don’t know it. Yet. The only absolute truth is that the truth will always come out in the end. It is clear to see the impact the Democratic agenda has had on middle America and is having yet on American’s opinion of them since the election of President Trump. Just as clear as it is to see that those same silent majority voters are now poised to go back to the polls and finish what they started two years ago.

I am not voting for Democrats or Republicans anymore I am an American, I deserve better than this and I am voting for me and mine. That’s just my opinion Y’all can decide for yourselves on the 6th.

My prediction is Dennis. Hof wins by a landslide.

Greetings sports fans and welcome to another misadventure which I affectionately call and which you all know and love as Vegas Valley Sports Beat. In football, the Dallas Cowboys beat the tar out of the Jacksonville Jaguars. Woohoo! And they looked darn good doing it too.

Turning now to national news on a local level, from a festive gala evening last night to a sad news this morning. The world is just beginning to find out that businessman and Republican candidate for Nevada state assembly to the 36th district. Locally here in Pahrump, Nevada where Hof owns the Love Ranch and the world famous Bunny Ranch held his 72nd birthday party last night at the Pahrump Nugget and invited the public to attend, one and all.

Sheriff Joe Arpaio

There were a number of celebrities in attendance including former Maricopa County, Arizona Sheriff Joe Arpaio, Ron Jeremy, Nye County Sheriff, Sharon Wehrly, a few local celebrities, politicians, Desert Haven Animal Shelter was in the house, Tucker Carlson called in of Hof’s cell phone to say hello to everyone and to wish Dennis a happy birthday. and yours truly was there also representing Vegas Valley News as always.

I went to meet Sheriff Joe Arpaio and to get his autograph. He told the partygoers that he once arrested Elvis Presley when he was a policeman in Las Vegas in 1957. Sheriff Joe said Elvis was riding a motorcycle “A HARLEY-DAVIDSON, motorcycle” (quoted emphasis) and he had a girl on the back. I couldn’t take my eyes off of the girl, he said. I can only imagine. Joe ran Elvis in but said he gave him a pass due to the work the young Mr. Presley was doing with the Truman White House at the time.

I went prepared not knowing about that incident with a get out of jail free card from an Elvis edition of Monopoly for Sheriff Arpaio (who is running for the U.S. Senate) to sign. and which he graciously did. Now if I should ever somehow find myself (through no fault of my own of course) in big trouble in Arizona I can take it out of my wallet and say nope sorry, I have a pass gotta go, bye.

Everyone there was there including a film crew from the BBC who were apparently filming a documentary, and conducting live interviews with a few of the luminaries there. I am fairly sure I appear in one of them. There were a lot of locals in attendance many of whom were older gentleman some were Vietnam veterans and/or local ranchers.

None of them looked like liberal lunatics, or as though they might start punching people in the face for voicing an opinion they don’t share. None of them looked like the type most people seem to associate with Dennis Hof and still do even with him gone. They were all everyday people just like you or me.

The birthday bash was held the day after Hof’s birthday but what does it matter we got to help him celebrate his final party and I am proud to say we sent him off in style.

That is why it came as such a shock if not a complete surprise when I got a text from my friend James Belvin who also attended the party along with his wife, Thelma to whom, Hof took an instant liking. He told her that he was very fond of her home island, the Philippines and that he had found a lady there whom he could trust and he planned to fly there just before Christmas and marry her.

I was out running errands this afternoon when I got that text and it really blew my wig back. I thought Hof looked rather tired he sat on a stool while he was speaking on the dais and he seemed to be slumping but he was chipper and upbeat and the party was a rousing success.

I bought a passel of raffle tickets from Hof for a bunch of swag he was giving away to raise money for his campaign but I forgot to check and see if I won anything or not.  I spoke to Hof’s personal manager in the hallway and he said he was going to be having a shindig at his house later this week for Hof’s campaign and he was going to email me the details but I would say that is not going to happen.

I hope that I am going to be invited to attend Hof’s funeral. I did not know Hof I was not his friend I went as a reporter with an eye only to observing and chronicling what I saw there for you. I am a registered card-carrying Republican voter who votes. I don’t swoon every time a celebrity waves at me, nor do I vote for them based on no more than that. I don’t care if Trump was living in my attic and paying for my exotic parrot habit. If he didn’t perform in the White House he’s not getting my vote period. If he/she/it doesn’t make my life any better then

I have to confess that I left early because I have a medical condition I call Homeritis. The droning of politicians as they kiss each other’s behinds causes its onset and it creeps up on me without warning. I kind of wandered off into the casino but I did listen to all of Hof’s speech and I think that in spite of whatever Dennis Hof might have done in the past that got so many people bad- mouthing his corpse on Twitter even as this goes to press, I liked what he had to say about the need for the rule of law and for social order in order for Democracy to work for every American.

It is a shame in my estimation that Hof will never get the opportunity to prove himself in the end and silence his critics once and for all. It was clear to me however that Dennis Hof had both good intentions and some good ideas for the constituents of District 36 and that he might have made a remarkable assemblyman for the state of Nevada but we will never know now, will we? Perhaps I might take up the fight and run for the assembly seat so that his Democratic opponent, Lesia Romanov doesn’t just waltz on in unopposed. Hm.

Lesia Romanov sent a political ad to my mom’s house that says You have a choice: The teacher or the pimp, Dennis Hof. My mother thinks it’s in exceptionally poor taste and I agree. Mom thinks it should have said the pimp or the blimp since were judging character now. I concur.

According to sources Dennis Hof age, 72 was found this morning by his friend Ron Jeremy in the same room at the Love Ranch in Crystal, Nevada where Lamar Odom overdosed on October 13, 2015. HOf’s campaign manager, Chuck Muth posted the following statement on Twitter this afternoon.

Ron Jeremy played a tribute for Hof on the harmonica last night and finished it off with a rousing if not even close to in tune rendition of happy birthday to you. Ron sort of got lost and overwhelmed when everyone took up the song in voice but it was fine just the same. It’s the thought that counts. I remember Hof telling Ron, “I love you, Ron but you’re a mess.”

I can well imagine that Mr. Jeremy is taking the death of his good friend very hard this evening. Say what you will about Ron but nobody wants to find their best friend dead on the morning after their birthday party.

The Nye County Sheriff’s office issued an official statement this afternoon on Twitter which confirmed the passing of Mr. Dennis Hof and said that no further statements will be made pending the results of the coroner’s autopsy. The sheriff said there was no preliminary indication of foul play but her office was investigating. An autopsy will be conducted by the Clark County coroner in Las Vegas. Wehrly said the results of the medical examination could take up to six weeks

Not being ones to wait however someone at Google decided to jump out the window and say that Hof died of natural causes. I think there are more than a few people whom might tend to disagree with that diagnosis. The Clark County Medical Examiner might just be one of them.

Dennis Hof presented no outward signs of impending death but them again who does in most cases of sudden death? Some folks whom I have heard speaking about Hof’s death have said they think it’s rather fishy but on the other hand Dennis Hof was 72 and there’s no expiration date on anyone that we can see. Such is the nature of life and the way of death.

The last image of Dennis Hof that I have and will always have now is of him sitting in a chair holding my mother in one arm beside him and Jim Belvin’s wife, Thema in his lap. The words I remember the clearest were ones Hof spoke about spending his birthday with the owner of the Los Angeles Lakers. Tucker Carlson then called Hof on his cell phone and said hello to everyone and wished Hof a happy birthday. Hof told him that they were going to have to get together next year and celebrate big time and the entire world was going to be invited to the bash.

I remember that most poignantly because I thought that was probably the wrong thing to say within God’s hearing. I had a feeling right then that Dennis Hof was not going to be there for that party. I hardly expected him to die the same night but it really came as little surprise when I heard the news. Hof lived large because Hof was large. He lived it, loved it and embraced his lifestyle without pretense or making any apologies to anyone for being himself. He had a lust for women and for life. Hof had large appetites and he paid a large price for it in the end, but boy oh boy what a way to go. Dying in your own bed in your own cathouse after celebrating your birthday at a casino with 500 good friends, surrounded by good food, wine, women, and song? Sign me up.

Marie Antionette never even had it so good. And there was cake too.

What is the saddest development of all from Dennis Hof passing away so suddenly is that he promised everyone at the party that he was going to meet them at Desert Haven when they opened this afternoon and he was going to pay the adoption fees for the first 10 people who came to adopt a dog or cat from the shelter, which Hof supported wholeheartedly.

Now 10 dogs and cats will not be adopted out because their benefactor has run his race, his day is done. Rest in peace, Dennis Hof. I hardly knew you but I had no quarrel with you and it is not my place to judge either the living or the dead. Speak ill of the dead as you will just mind the hole that you’re digging for yourself while you’re doing it. Just saying.

Rest In Peace
